Welcome to the Coffee Shop…
The coffee shop provides the perfect place to sit awhile and admire the skill of the artists and crafters whose work we are please to display. Ever popular as a meeting place, the conversations often turn to art, and just as often there is an artist on hand taking a break from the easel to lend an expert opinion! Relax, enjoy the art and maybe ponder on a purchase with no pressure…that’s what our customers like.
We offer a simple menu, based on good quality fresh food. A variety of scones are made fresh daily…why not try a scone with Deurrs strawberry jam and clotted cream…delicious!
The tasty soup is homemade and fresh daily too, and is suitable for vegetarians. We serve ever popular toasties, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, and a tempting assortment of gâteaux and muffins.
To drink we offer a number of soft drinks, tea, hot chocolate and of course Cafetière, Espresso, Cappuccino & Latte coffees.
In a coffee shop, selecting the right beans to use is important. We talked to Garraways and with over 300 years of tradition and expertise they and their fine Arabica beans fitted the bill. As members of the fair trade foundation and licensed Fairtrade producers, they grow the beans and can provide fresh and fair product.
Garraways also supply our Fairtrade chocolate sprinkles, sugar and Columbian cafetière ground 
coffee. Our Fairtrade tea is from Ridgeways… a company that originated in London in 1836 and has a reputation for supplying teas of the highest quality.
