About Us...
“Affordable & Accessible Art in a stunning location”
We would love to welcome you to our lovely Art & Craft Gallery,
located a few short miles from Dunoon along the scenic coastal
road around the Holy Loch.
Our location is stunning; at the head of the pier in Blairmore
Village, on the shore of Loch Long, with views to the Arrochar
Alps, the Loch, and the River Clyde beyond.
Our Gallery is surrounded by many talented artists and
crafts people, such as David Morrison, Raymond Murray
and Pam Glennie, who work with us to keep displays
fresh and appealing. We have a great relationship with
the Gallery Artists... they have become our friends, and
this enables us to share with you what drives and
inspires them. Many pop in regularly for coffee and a
chat, and to talk art. Some tutor classes that we
arrange, hence our '4 Star' Visitor Attraction status.
As the largest gallery in Cowal, we display
the work of many Argyll artists, whilst
inviting well known artists such as Davy
Brown from further afield to display in joint
or solo exhibitions which change every 4 or 5
weeks. Established over 10 years, but always
with its finger on the pulse, the gallery
always has something new to see; art,
prints, jewellery, ceramics, books, cards,
scarves, bags and other decorative items...
we have the most extensive range of art &
crafts in one place in the whole of Cowal, so
we are the place to come to see the best
that there is on offer in the local area.
But there is no obligation to buy. It is important to us that every one feels
comfortable coming to the Gallery, hence we joined the Visit Scotland
Quality Assurance scheme to demonstrate that we have consistently high
standards, and that by meeting the award criteria we have a good quality
venue, with friendly service, and a range of arts and crafts that give great
choice to the visitor, and locals alike.
Once you have looked at our art, relax and enjoy the loch-side views from the Coffee Shop area.
We serve fresh ground coffee; Latte, Espresso and Cappuccino, tea, fruit infusions and so on.
Also we serve delicious home baked scones, tray bakes, muffins and light snacks.
We would love you to visit us and enjoy the art, and admire the skill of the crafters, but we
understand you may be tempted to buy a present for a loved one, or even treat yourself.
We have a large and ever expanding Fairtrade Range of gift items to compliment our ranges,
alongside the Fairtrade products used in our Coffee Shop.
