I spent a lot of time in Africa, mainly working in Northern Nigeria. As a College Vice Principal, and then as an educational inspector, I had a large input into setting up dozens of schools. I changed direction and ran a successful catering business before returning to Scotland and continuing in business. During all this time two things have remained unchanged... my love of producing landscape artwork and my interest and forthright views on Scottish politics. Now I am retired I have more time to devote to both. Having continuously produced and shown work, I am pleased that people are still adding my work to their collections and my show last year at Blairmore was particularly successful, so thank you!”                                   David
