A Show of George Printezis’s artwork available through the Gallery

"I like colour and I like geometry. I also like to ensure that no two works are the same... I paint and take the image outside the frame...! I paint the frame... I have a picture with no frame! My current exhibition at Blairmore Gallery has some new pieces and some which I painted quite a while ago which have been in my personal collection. I gave Steve and Sylvia free reign to choose pictures which show the diversity of my work. And what about me? I was born in Greece, and worked in the film industry, before working at Sabena Airlines which gave me the opportunity to paint and travel the world. I now reside on the West Coast of Scotland. I had my first solo show in the 70's in Athens and since then have had many joint and solo shows, for example at the McLean’s Museum and Art Gallery in Greenock and the Hellenic Centre in London. Many of my works belong to private collectors in Britain, Greece, France, Germany and the USA."
