After selection by the Design Council, London, I exhibited at international design events and then went on to work as a freelance designer selling internationally. I gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in 1992, and taught for a number of years progressing to painting full time. I work mainly in pastels and acrylic in an expressive and painterly style allowing my distinctive ‘floating’ colour palette to emerge. I exhibit widely in Scotland and was selected to exhibit at the 2007 Paisley Art Institute Annual Exhibition; I was pleased to be awarded the Small Painting prize.”     Pam
